Hi there, dear reader.

It’s good to be back in your inbox after a six-week hiatus. In my last email, I mentioned that I needed to pause, take stock, and evaluate what Project 18:15 will look like moving forward. I have done that.

These six weeks have been fruitful as I’ve prayed and planned, and I have an update for you that may be bittersweet.

After serious consideration, I’ve concluded that, at least for a season, I need to land the plane on Project 18:15 and focus on other projects. This decision comes as I weigh my responsibilities and consider the most efficient way to steward my time.

If and when the opportunity arises, I’ll rev the engines back up and take off again, and I’ll certainly let you know about it. But until that time, there are two things I would like you to be aware of:

1. Occasional articles

I intend to continue publishing; however, it will be more occasional and focused on a single matter each time—more like essays than news reports on a variety of topics.

In fact, I’ve got a great guest post coming up soon. So, look for an article by Dr. Cody Watson in your inbox in a couple of days.

With this new format, I’ll be switching to a new platform, so emails will be sent from a different email address. Please save [email protected] to your contacts so your email provider doesn't mistake it for spam or junk.

2. New venture

One of the “other projects” I’m working on is a new online brand store that my wife and I have just launched. It's called Wise Dad.

Wise Dad offers Christian apparel and merchandise with unique Proverbs-based designs. The primary target audience is Christian fathers, although others are likely to enjoy some of the pieces as well. I invite you to take a gander at the shop and pick up your favorite item. For a limited time, Project 18:15 readers have a 15% discount on all store items with the promo code PROJECT. And check back soon, because we’ll be adding new products all the time.

While it may not be obvious at first, the vision of this new venture has a strong link with the vision of Project 18:15. The “18:15” is a reference to Proverbs 18:15: “An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.” This has always been the heartbeat of the newsletter—helping Christians grow in knowledge.

The new store aims at the same target with a different weapon: offering wisdom-centric designs inspired by the book of Proverbs to help Christians better remember and meditate on God’s wisdom. If the Lord blesses Wise Dad, we plan to expand the brand significantly in that direction.

If you like it, please follow us on Instagram (here — posts coming soon) and, again, check out the shop. Thank you!

In Conclusion

I owe a big thanks to all of you who have been faithful readers of Project 18:15. I don’t take your time and attention for granted, and it's been a joy to add value, if in a small way, to your search for knowledge. I hope to keep doing that.

Again, thank you!

At your service,

Anthony Langer
